PAUL RAPPOPORT - MANAGEMENT
Paul has over 30 years of experience in business intelligence, forecasting and data analysis, modeling and statistical assessment, with a specialization in applied telecommunications demand analysis.
His current research focuses on estimating price elasticities from estimates of a consumer’s willingness to pay using survey data; the construction of network (internet) metrics; specifying and modeling business broadband; forecasting demand, measuring the nature of network externalities under conditions of increased competition and modeling the demand for best practice Voice-over-IP.
Paul served as Chairman and CEO of PNR and Associates, a telecommunications consulting firm he started in 1981. At PNR he created “Bill Harvesting”, the ReQuest database and telecommunication demand models currently marketed by Dun and Bradstreet. PNR was sold to TNS in 2000.
Paul serves as Centris’ chief intelligence officer, leading the team of research professionals to provide unmatched insight into the dynamics of the media, telecommunications and technology landscape. He is a Senior Fellow at Columbia University’s Center for Tele-Information and a Senior Consultant to Global Insight. He received his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in 1974
