Sample Source
The sample utilizes random-digit-dialing (RDD). Sample telephone numbers are computer-generated and loaded into on-line sample files accessed directly by the CATI system. The sampling protocol incorporates an automated call-back procedure. Each respondent household is pre-coded with geographic information, local phone carrier, cable franchise, etc., all of which are available for sample targeting.

Sample Size: The survey is fielded every day with approximately 145 interviews completed daily for a total of 1,000 nationally projectible interviews in a seven day period; typically 4,000 a month; 13,000 a quarter and 52,000 annually.

Fielding Schedule
There are no restrictive field dates for the omnibus, as it is daily and on-going. Inserts can enter and exit the survey based on client scheduling and sample size needs. Respondent Selection: Qualified respondents are adults age 18+ in households with a natural fall out of gender. Projections: The sample is weighted to ensure that demographically, the sample matches known population characteristics. The weighting procedure employs a number of household characteristics including, but not limited to, Number of Voice Telephone lines, Gender, Age, Education and Race of householders, as well as Region and Metropolitan status. Each individual client insert, regardless of duration and sample size, is weighted and projected separately.
