Local area forecasts are part of the Centris Analytic engine. Centris uses time series methods to forecast key media entertainment products and services for client-specified markets. The forecast structure for a particular market incorporates the competitive activity of that market into the analysis.
For example, for a cable provider offering high speed data service, the range of competitive activity may include the deployment and marketing of Telecom Fiber, the triple-play offerings in specific markets and the migration of service from one provider to another. Note further that the forecast of a specific service from a provider is not independent of the client’s other service offerings.
